Tax rebates and incentives change every year. Currently, for 2016 these are the tax rebates that are offered. Please see a Coastal Windows & Exteriors representative for more details.
Siding – You can get a $500 tax rebate as long as you use a progressive foam product with siding. There is a list of certain insulated drop in products that qualify.
Roofing – There is a tax credit for ENERGY STAR certified asphalt roofs with pigmented coatings or cooling granules designed to reduce heat gain for 10% of the cost, up to $500. Americans spend about $40 billion annually to air condition buildings and qualified roof products reflect the sun’s rays an can lower the roof surface by 50F. This can help decrease the amount of heat transferred into a home and can reduce air cooling up to 15%. If you have a solar system on a new roof, a portion of that new roof may be able to get a 30% tax savings based on structural need. Windows & Doors – 10% of the cost (not including installation costs), up to $200 for windows and up to $500 for doors
