Celebrating a National TV Role at the A&E ‘Flipping Boston’ Viewing Party & Fundraiser!
Coastal was recently featured in two all-new episodes of A&E’s “Flipping Boston”. Stephanie Vanderbilt appeared as an expert on two new shows featuring homes in Massachusetts. In Reading, Coastal Windows & Exteriors helped JP Norden’s family prepare their home after the Boston Marathon bombings. The company, in partnership with Northshore Magazine and Kings in Lynnfield, recently celebrated their role in these two shows with friends, family, clients, business partners and the media at a VIP Viewing Party at Kings in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.
The raffle raised funds for Boston Marathon bombing survivors and the Norden brothers’ charity, “A Leg Forever” Foundation. The Viewing Party featured “Flipping Boston” hosts, show contributors, a buffet, cocktails, and an exciting raffle. The evening also featured reality TV star and King’s Lynnfield Head Chef Jennifer Normant. Normant was recently a contestant on Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen where she made it into the top 5 finalists.
About the A&E “Flipping Boston” Episodes
This national TV show feature highlights how this woman-owned business thrives in the male-dominated home improvement industry. Specifically, Stephanie helped “Flipping Boston” hosts install a GAF Master Elite Lifetime roof on a Lynn investment home. During the inspection, she discovered root rot and advised Pete and Dave to re-shingle using plywood, in accordance with Master Elite installation standards. Additionally, Stephanie’s company donated and installed ADA-compliant ProVia entry doors for a Boston Marathon bombing survivor’s new home. These doors not only improve functionality, but also meet full ADA accessibility guidelines, including proper threshold height and widened openings for wheelchair access.
Although discovering hidden issues in the Lynn property was a challenge, it turned into a valuable teaching moment. Stephanie Vanderbilt personally guided two experienced flippers on how to overcome these setbacks. As a result, Pete and Dave gained insight into expert-level installation practices. Later on, they enthusiastically reunited with Stephanie for a second show. Above all, the most meaningful part of the project was enhancing the daily life of a Boston Marathon bombing survivor and his family. Undoubtedly, this cause resonates deeply with every Bostonian. Ultimately, the project also helped raise awareness and support for his new charity.
We scouted for a Greater Boston exterior remodeling company, and we felt thrilled when we found Coastal Windows & Exteriors. From the very beginning, “They provided expert knowledge and actively educated their customers,” said Peter Souhleris. Moreover, they understood the work thoroughly and moved quickly. Even though challenges arose at both job sites, Stephanie’s team responded immediately and delivered the best solutions. In addition, they completed the project on schedule using high-quality, lifetime-grade materials that ultimately exceeded our expectations.

“Flipping Boston” on A&E
The show features professional house flippers Peter Souhleris and Dave Seymour as they gamble on a strategy to give them an edge in the tough real estate market. Together, they design high-end properties, and they flip fast. As always, there’s never a dull moment when Peter’s attention to detail clashes with Dave’s need for speed. Nevertheless, the end results prove that this duo is at the top of their game. However, the real question remains: will there be a jackpot for them at the end of each flip? To find out, you can view the full episodes at the bottom of this page.
“A Leg Forever” Charitable Foundation:
Was established by Liz Norden in honor of her two sons JP and Paul Norden. Both boys are Boston Marathon bombing survivors, who each lost a leg in the bombings of April 15, 2013. The foundation helps other amputees in need, paying it forward just like her sons received support. On that horrific day, the Boston Marathon bombings injured 269 people and caused 16 to lose limbs, profoundly changing many families’ lives.
Liz Norden’s sons, JP and Paul, lost their right legs and nearly their lives that day. Although the family faced horror, caring people worldwide offered love, prayer, and support. Amputees from many places showed support and shared encouraging stories. Public donations and the One Fund helped them get the best prosthetic limbs. They remain forever grateful. The ‘A Leg Forever’ Charitable Foundation supports others the way the Norden family was helped during their crisis.
