Ahhh the color of white! I love the crispness of it and to double up white on white! So classic! Enjoy your white pizza (yes I’m a New Yorker, did you know that about me?) at your white breakfast nook while enjoying the sun pouring in from your Preservation windows with Sunclean. Don’t worry about dirt and grime. It naturally comes off with a summer rain shower. Say what? Yep you heard me. You don’t have to clean them! You can thank me later!

For the pizza:

3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for brushing the pan
3 teaspoons garlic, chopped (about 3 cloves)
8 ounces (1/2 pound) fresh mozzarella, sliced and coarsely chopped
1/2 cup part-skim ricotta
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
3 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

2. Brush a round rimmed baking sheet with olive oil and set aside.

3. In a small bowl, combine two tablespoons of olive oil with the garlic, set aside.

4.  On a clean and lightly floured flat work surface, roll out the dough (Whole Foods or TJs) to a round shape and transfer to piked baking pan and brush lightly with your garlic oil.

5.  Layer the mozzarella making sure to leave at least a 1/2-inch border of exposed crust.

6. Crumble the ricotta cheese over the pizza, followed by the Parmesan cheese.

7. Bake the pizza until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown, about 10-15 minutes or so.

8.   Sprinkle the pizza with the fresh basil, and serve immediately.

Buon Appetito!
