“Giving Honor to Whom Honor is Due”: Coastal Windows & Exteriors Proudly Serves as Sponsor for Hometown Heroes in Our Community
At Coastal Windows & Exteriors, honoring our country’s bravest is very important. Therefore, on May 25th, we proudly sponsored the 3rd Annual Hometown Heroes Banner Installation Ceremony at GAR Park, Haverhill. Organized by The Exchange Club and the Banner Tribute Committee, this event celebrated brave men and women who served our community and nation.
“Thank you for allowing us to be a part of honoring your military heroes. Giving Honor to Whom Honor is Due.” –Military Tribute Banners
In collaboration with Mayor Fiorentini, city officials, and local departments, we honored over 120 hometown heroes with banners throughout Downtown Haverhill. The vibrant banners stretched from Essex Street to South Main Street, creating a heartwarming visual salute to our service members.
Hometown Heroes Program & Ceremony Sponsorship
We thrilledly supported this powerful event through our $1,000 Official Hometown Heroes 2023 Sponsorship and added $500 for the Ceremony. Additionally, we honored a Haverhill Vietnam Veteran killed in action through the 2023 Hometown Heroes Banner Tribute Program.
Stephanie Vanderbilt, owner of Coastal Windows & Exteriors, said, “We’re honored to join the 2023 Haverhill Exchange Club Hometown Heroes Banner Tribute featuring 160 banners of Vietnam Veterans killed in action. Supporting Arthur Paul Williams with our assigned banner made me feel even more honored. These soldiers deserve to be remembered for their sacrifice.”
Community Support
We have received overwhelming expressions of gratitude from many members of the community. This includes Thea Tsagaris, the committee chair of the Haverhill Exchange Club Hometown Heroes and Jennifer Matthew, a committee member. Their kind words inspire us to keep supporting noble causes, highlighting the importance of honoring service members’ sacrifices.
“We can’t thank you enough for all of your support to illuminate the importance of honoring and remembering the sacrifice of our service members, who have transformed our community through their selfless service and call to action. I think it’s amazing that your company is a part of this amazing program by honoring our veterans and active duty service members. It is a tremendous source of pride having these banners throughout the City, and having them serve as visual reminders of all the sacrifices these brave heroes have made and continue to make for this country. We cannot thank you enough for such a generous sponsorship!!! THANK YOU!” –Thea Tsagaris, committee chair of the Haverhill Exchange Club Hometown Heroes.

Honoring Our Country’s Bravest
There are many small ways that anyone can honor our country’s bravest. One of those ways is by properly displaying the US flag. Our blog on Old Glory Flag Etiquette shows how to properly raise and lower your flag, along with other helpful tips.
Recently, Coastal Windows & Exteriors installed a free roof at no cost to a local Navy veteran. This is part of our Roofs for Heroes Program, giving back to those who protect and serve our country.
At Coastal Windows & Exteriors, we feel honored with our involvement in initiatives that illuminate the brave contributions of our community’s service members. We’re looking forward to continued participation in such impactful events. After all, as rightly stated by Military Tribute Banners, “Giving Honor to Whom Honor is Due.“
