Three Wreaths – Three Points of Contact - CWE

threewreathshangcarefully

I don’t know about you, but for me this weekend was all about holiday-ing up my house. Yes, it was 30 degrees but I wanted to start tackling the decorating. For the first time, I wanted to add fresh wreaths to my bay window. I went to Leonard’s and got wreaths and picked up hooks and premade bows at Target. Yes, I braved Black Friday! As I dragged the ladder out front, I heard my husband, David, saying wait for me if you get on that ladder. If you are a little less coordinated like me, make sure you climb with caution. Whether you are readying your roof for winter (yes, you need to check it – read our tell tale signs your roof needs replacing) and decorating for the holidays, ladder-related injuries spike this time of year. Make sure you place your ladder straight one foot from the surface for every four feet of ladder height. And remember always maintain three points of contact with the ladder AT ALL TIMES – one foot and two hands or two feet and one hand. Wreaths on windows…yep you got this!
