Today is day three of siding installation and I have to say this has been a remarkable process. From the initial call for information to the ease of setting up an appointment with Ryan and Cam, the sales guys who met with me, it was obvious Coastal Windows is a well run company.
As for Ryan and Cam, they were professional and well acquainted with their product. Ryan was an especially helpful advisor in the final design—from a dated 1960s ranch to the to a 21st century modern structure.

Currently we’re in the first stages of having our basement windows replaced.
We met with our Product Specialist, Nabil. He was very personable, knowledgeable and arrived right on time…total patience on his part, my boyfriend is a hard nut to crack when it comes to spending money.

The price for all (8) windows with triple pane were very reasonable….we can’t wait until there installed.

Plus, my daughter recommended Coastal Windows to us because they replaced almost her whole house and she loves her windows and highly recommended Coastal.

They banged out about 25+ windows in two days and did a great job replacing the rotten trim and getting everything straight. My experience with Coastal Windows & Exteriors was so much better than I expected. This interaction was to replace decades old vinyl siding. I was ready for high pressure sales where they push me toward the most expensive and elaborate siding replacement. What I got was a collaboration with Dino (the consultant that came to my home). He explained it all.

He walked me through the composition of the different materials used at each level of siding. We even talked about the area of the siding where the nails are placed., the type of nails used. He explained the type of house wrap they now use.. He explained how houses need to “breathe” and the old school wrap didn’t provide this benefit.
Most importantly he didn’t speak in jargon. He explained it all in everyday terms and used examples.

When it came to the assessment of the house and I what I had to replace it was a breath of fresh air . I was expecting to hear that I should replace it all. It was cool we worked out how to better spend my money.

Mike came to us to sell us windows and he did just that! Our plan was to get 2 or 3 quotes for the job, however. Mike did a great job of explaining everything they were going to do to keep our house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. He showed us what we would be getting, the windows look awesome. He spent nearly 4 hours with us answering all of our questions and just seemed very honest and trustworthy we were sold, we did not even keep the meeting we had scheduled for the next night with another company.

I was reluctant to call but ended up pulling the trigger due to the high reviews. There was an associate who came to our home and showed us our options and what we would like; our door was customized to our liking. The next step was measuring the door/door frame. Last step was installation. The door was perfect but didn't close automatically like we preferred. I called back and Ashley made sure my concern was heard and addressed. Within 2 days, I had a gentlemen come by, fix the issue and even educated me on what he did to solve the problem. Customer service (human not a machine) 5/5. Cost 4/5 (understandable with complete transparency). Schedule- roughly 1 month from signing to completion. I would definitely refer them to friends or family.

I was hesitant about starting a renovation project, especially right before the holidays, because I didn’t understand the process or want to deal with multiple companies pressuring me to make a decision. But when Ryan showed up and said, ‘You are in good hands,’ I had no idea how great the experience would be.

Ryan spent over seven hours at our first meeting answering all my questions, explaining siding options, colors, and even what a soffit is. He helped me design a rendering of my dream house exterior, staying so late that the company sent him a pizza for dinner! That gesture made me realize Coastal Windows & Exteriors truly cares about its employees, which gave me confidence in doing business with them.

Our initial design was beyond my budget, but Ryan encouraged me to dream big so I could understand all the material options. He then guided me through a hands-on research process to pick and choose elements that better fit my budget. Even when I was still nervous about affordability, Ryan went back to the drawing board and redesigned the house. He found a way to stay closer to my number while maintaining a fantastic look.

Now that construction has started, everything is looking amazing. I’ll be back to post pictures and update on the rest of the team’s communication, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines. I was warned that projects like this often face delays, but so far, my experience has been outstanding. I can’t recommend Ryan and Coastal Windows & Exteriors enough!

Called coastal windows and one other local company to quote on replacing a greenhouse style window/box leaking with a water rot base. They came quickly. The guys who came were knowledgeable but also unequivocally salesmen. They were reasonable, and honest about what things we probably should replace (window noted above), versus things they could do at discount by replacing more windows, but weren't urgent issues. They went through a sales pitch at the end, and quoted me, and then discounted it if we took the option that moment. I had not heard from the other company regarding their quote yet, and coastal was well rated, so took the offer. FWIW, the other company did come in about 20% lower (and also very reputable), but I appreciated how quickly coastal came and was ready to move forward. The actual ordering and installation went very well and perfectly happy with the result. Summary: salesmen forward, a little on the pricier side, but EXCELLENT product and service.

This is review pre-install because we feel we need to let everyone know how wonderful our initial experience with Coastal Windows & Exterior was. I inquired via Instagram and was responded ti immediately and set up an appointment time for someone to come to our home. Such a bonus, we did not want to spend time in a store trying to make such a big decision.

Roger came to our home to go over give us an overview on entry doors and the products Coastal uses. He reviewed options for replacing our old front entry door. He spent hours with us, answering every question we had. Even the ones that may have been silly or obvious. He gave us a ton of choices that allowed us to choose the door that best suited our home and design taste.

Roger was honest, professional and down to earth. He even was super relaxed and completely fine with our puppy loving on him a bit too much. Sorry Roger!

After meeting with 2 other contractors, I met with Ryan Mahoney from Coastal Windows & Exteriors and was a given a very competitive price and they delivered on promises made and made recommendations that ultimately enhanced the exterior design of my house. My house is a new build and had some custom unique features and they delivered on turning my design into a reality. Coastal Windows & Exteriors performed custom work to install a tigerwood soffit to my specifications and custom tigerwood headers that other contractors refused to include in their numbers. Their field team and installers were top shelf and did excellent job with minding small details and identifying issues before the work was installed. They finished the job quickly and effectively. Brendan at Coastal Windows & Exteriors was referred to me by one of my clients. I was looking to have new vinyl shingles install on my home and had already interviewed 3 other companies. I didn't feel good about any of them, so I reached out to Brendan. We met up a few days later, I told him what I wanted, he didn't me rush through the process to get a signed contract. I told him what my budget was, he said he would do everything in his power to stay on that budget and he did. I wanted a yellow house and was told that it was not a popular color but that didn't stop him from trying to find a yellow that I liked. We had the pleasure of meeting with Dino and Ewan to go over a few things we want to do to our newly purchased 2nd home. They drove an hour on a Saturday for this Appointment - but it didn't feel like a typical appointment at all. They were very prompt, kind, knowledgable, caring, helpful, friendly and treated my husband and I (and our kids and dogs) with great respect. It is clear they work well together, know what they are talking about, are great people and that they are dedicated employees.
Every question was answered, every option was discussed. Opinions were given, samples were shown - overall it was a great experience - they didn't make us feel like potential customers - they made us feel like a part of their family and part of the Coastal family!

Mark and Cody were very comprehensive and laying out a proposal to update our siding, trim, and installing new gutters. The 3 man crew worked over 8 long work days to strip, membrane, insulate, and side our entire house, wrap all exposed exterior wood, install all new soffits, and completed the work with new gutters and exterior lighting.
It looks fabulous, the team was great, and we're super happy with the transformation.

Iif you can dream & envision it, then Coastal Exteriors & Windows will make it happen. The representative from the company I initially dealt with was Roger. He was very polite & professional. He took his time to explain each item I was interested in and answered all the questions I had. With that said, I am beyond thrilled with the results!! I chose to have new siding, roof & gutters done. I decided to go with the Evening Blue James Hardie siding. I absolutely love!! The job itself took approximately 2 weeks to complete from late November to early December 2023. The team that was sent, by the company to do the job was great. They were very polite, courteous and very hard working. They would show up every day promptly at 7am and work until it got dark out. Not only did they complete the job in a timely fashion but they made sure to do the job right. I would like to thank Rob and Mike from the Coastal team. It was definitely a pleasure from the start to end. They were very informative and professional from the quoting process to the final proposal. They provided exactly what I had asked, and made sure I felt comfortable with my selection of the exterior siding and windows. We ran into a little hiccup, but that was quickly resolved soon after. Between the window installers and siding installers, they were amazing. The spot was left clean everyday, and the work done was top notch. You kind of get what you paid for. Dave was the PM on the project, which help coordinate the timing with the weather and worked closely with me with my other contractors for other work that needed to be done before they came on site. Ross came onsite to frequently check up on everything and communicated with me through the process. Overall, I’m super glad I picked Coastal to do the work. I frequent get compliments on my house. I was introduced to Coastal Windows and Exteriors during the Beverly Homecoming Lobster Fest, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to support this women-owned company that values military and first responders. We'd been delaying a much-needed roof replacement since purchasing our home in 2019, and despite getting quotes from other roofers, we hadn't taken the plunge.

When we finally decided to move forward, Coastal Windows and Exteriors stood out. Meeting with their sales team, Erik and Patrick, was a fantastic experience. They not only explained our roofing needs clearly but also offered the best price we'd seen. While there was a minor hiccup in communication, it might have been a misunderstanding on my part.

Once the team started the work, they were efficient and considerate, ensuring our safety, especially because we have two young children. The follow-up and support, particularly from Stephanie and Dean, were exceptional.

At the time we were looking at potential cost of replacing windows and also wanted to know the cost of siding due the state of both items when we bought the home. Mark was very friendly and spent the time to go through all options for both projects including showing us a 3d modeling of what the final result would look like. Unfortunately at the time we could only go forward with windows due to overall cost. The process could not have been smoother and the new windows were scheduled and installed (albeit a few months after we met due to the ongoing supply chain challenges). The new windows have made an immediate difference in our energy costs and we couldn't be happier.

But wait...there is more...

After the installation, Mark kept in touch with us and was able to put a new siding offer on the table that was more in line with our budget (with financing) and we ended up agreeing to that project as well. Mark came back to the house and we signed papers and look forward to starting that project in the near future.

In fairness, though, that might have been OK now because COVID has ruined worldwide shipping; however, the same mix-up occurred the last time. The company apologized as it had to re-order the correct windows.On the BRIGHT side the windows are greater. They deaden outside noise. They insulate better than my previous 25 year old Andersen windows. I did look at Pella but I didn't like its pricing for wood trim.Life is all about compromises, dooohhh.

I reached out to Costal Window and Exterior for a roof replacement. I had an appointment with Jim Faro the next day. Very professional, took measurements and showed me every layer of new product that would be going on my roof once they stripped the old shingles and such off. All in the same visit. I was given two quotes for my roof as I was unsure how big a project I wanted to make it. Jim worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted is working with me still to make sure my new roof goes on ASAP and I have some pretty bad damage from recent storms. I highly recommend Jim and Coastal Windows, I will be returning when its time to do siding!

ADDENDUM: The siding is done and what a great job! The crew were friendly and professional, got the entire house resided in under a week! When they were finished, there was a slight adjustment we wanted, and they came back and handled it in an afternoon. Fantastic work! We've gotten numerous compliments on how our house looks now.We were looking to get the siding replaced on our house. We had two companies take a look and both gave about the same estimate, but Coastal went above and beyond to help us make it happen. When we weren't sure how we could afford it, their representatives pointed us toward refinancing, gave us contacts to get it done, and made sure we were okay every step of the way.But beyond that, they're also just incredibly friendly while still maintaining a great professional attitude. Tim and Terry were our representatives, and they made us feel listened to. They heard what we wanted, and helped us find a way to make it happen. When they left after our first meeting, we actually knew we could get good siding that would protect our home for decades to come and look nice doing it, and we wouldn't be drowning in debt afterward.

My wife and I contacted Coastal Windows to talk about siding our house and replace one window at our home and a large 3 bay window at my mother's home. I've contacted Coastal twice for help with my house and both times they were extremely honest, helpful and responsive! The first time was to get an estimate for siding and to replace a window. I was told that I didn't actually need siding (yet) and the window that was broken should actually be under manufacturers warantee and the sash could be replaced for free! (This was after being told by another person that I needed to replace my siding asap and the window would only cost an additional $600!) Based on the trust they built the first time, I called them again for porch windows (which most certainly need replacing!). Tim A. and Terry O. came out and both were just as fantastic as the first person! They explained everything, provided a lot of info I hadn't known, gave a very fair price and were incredibly responsive through the whole process! 5 out of 5 would use them again!

I used Coastal Windows & Exteriors to put new siding on my house and install a new front door. Emily came to my house to go over the project with me. She helped me pick out the right siding and shutters even calling the owner of the company to discuss what color would match my roof. Emily is great very personable and she cares about you the customer. I met with Jeffrey and Emily to plan what I wanted for my door and they both helped me pick out and design my door. My house looks fantastic! It looks like a brand new house. The crew were fantastic and helped you with all your questions and quickly resolved any issues. The owners of the company David & Stephanie get involved and want you to be satisfied! The inside trim on my door was supposed to be desert sand and it was installed white and I wanted it to match my trim on my windows and doors. Emily came over to asess and fix the issue, matching the paint and going to sherwin williams to get the paint. She then painted the trim to match my doors. I can't say enough about this company! My light had to be moved to the opposite side of my front door so the shutters could fit. David coordinated their electrician to come and rewire. We had all the windows in our condo replaced by coastal. They did a good job with installation and cleanup. The windows that got delivered by the manufacturer where not exactly what we order but coastal worked with us and made it right. They also came back to repair something that we weren't happy with and that also went well. Subsequently they contacted us to inquire if all was satisfactory and to inform us that we can call anytime if something comes up. Their whole staff is very friendly and accommodating . They stepped in and provided accurate measurements and descriptions of the work and set a timeline that was reasonable for the work to be completed. We had a couple of hiccups when our first choice of siding became unavailable and then the same thing happened with the second choice. The factories closed down due to COVID issues. My client needed to have some bricks "anchored" on their home and it was recommended the owners put siding over these bricks. I had a unique opportunity to watch 2 different neighbors getting new roofs across the street. It was clear to me that Neighbor A was getting a better job. That's why I called Coastal when it was time to replace my roof. Quality to me is the most important criteria. I chose GAF's Timberline Ultra HD with StainGuard Plus which has a new embedded resistant treatment for Blue/Green Algae. The whole experience was top notch. Frank in sales was very knowledgeable, genuine and remained on-site during the installation. The entire crew was more than competent and experienced in their trade. They got every little detail attended to. They complied with OSHA standards on my steep roof. They took care of my shrubs and lawn as if it was their own. After putting off window replacement for years, I found these guys online. The friendly professional sales rep came to my house, showing me all my options with full specs. The precision construction & high-tech materials used let me know these were the best quality windows I've seen. I chose triple-pane, argon-krypton gas-filled, with a UV-tint. The quote was very reasonable. I didn't need to look any further. The 3 installers came out on time, courteous, respectful, very competent experienced professionals. They were very accommodating to my needs. In 1 full day, they installed 13 double-hung windows, each one custom made with precision and a nice snug fit, without disturbing the interior trim. After every window was installed, they cleaned the area and vacuumed well. Every window was installed beautifully, better than I could have imagined. I was shown the proper closure of the sashes for best seal, and the beautifully engineered twin locks, effortless tilt-to-clean operation. I am so glad I got the UV tint since I get migraines from UV glare. It also keeps the house cooler in summer. The house is much tighter, even on gusty days, these windows are solid. In the 3-yrs I've had these, no problems whatsoever. I would hire Coastal again without hesitation. Great people, Highly recommended.

There was a slight delay in the start date of the job. However it was not a major problem. Steve Hansen was very good in contacting me and keeping me apprised on everything. The workers were very efficient and professional. Work was done in one day as promised. The workers cleaned up everything very well.I have one concern regarding the gutters which were not replaced, I believe the top cap is pulled back too far. Birds are getting into the gutter. The gutter is a product that prevents leaves and debris from getting in. I will have the gutter company come out and inspect them. I will contact you if there is a problem.

What do you do when you need new windows, siding, and doors? You call Coastal Windows of course! When my wife and I moved into our house we knew at some point this would all need to be done. The doors were so poorly sealed you could see light all around the edges. On windy days our old windows sounded like a death metal drummer practicing his double bass and there was enough draft to fly a kite. Our shake siding was starting to break and the paint was peeling.So we had a few choices, either be 'that' house in our pretty nice neighborhood or fix up the place. Now parking a bunch of rusty 1980's camaro's on the front lawn with no wheels and resting on cinder blocks next to a few weather beaten torn up tarps flapping in the wind would have completed our look but I had no desire to grow a mullet and I don't think Larry the Cable guy is funny so we went the opposite way.We reached out to Coastal Windows and they sent forth Esther to tell us all about all the cool things we needed to do just in case MTV Cribs ever came back on the air. Esther gave us tons of options and helped us all along the way. We were explained and shown the differences in windows, sidings, and doors and learned a lot along the way. For siding we went with a shake design that looks about as real as you can get. With the windows we went with some filled with Krypton gas, Esther says this is the best for insulation but I did it because I really don't trust Superman, and we capped it off with a sweet new front door, back door, and rear storm door into the mud room.When Coastal Windows got going with construction they were quick and efficient, from stripping the house to getting everything new on it took about a week. Coastal Windows never left us with any holes overnight, if a window was removed it was immediately replaced and the same with the doors. Their contractors also measured multiple times before ordering anything so there were no wrong sizes or delays.The best part is everything carries a life guarantee. Now I have to start eating more vegetables and actually using the treadmill that holds my laundry so I can really take advantage of this! If you're thinking about going somewhere besides Coastal Windows just remember this little piece of advice...don't.

I had two custom replacement windows installed last year from Coastal Windows and had a very positive experience with everyone involved. They are beautiful and have kept the architectural integrity of the house intact. The installation was pretty quick and the installer consulted with me when an unexpected snag popped up to my complete satisfaction.I also recently had two steel replacement doors installed from them and loved the beautiful paneling and attention to detail. The installers were very professional, showed up on time and explained the process thoroughly. They were quick to resolve any issues along the way, left the area in clean and proper order and made sure I was satisfied before leaving.My sales people have very accommodating throughout the entire process. They were helpful in making recommendations that suited my needs and were always prompt to find answers and solutions. Not one of the salespersons used any pressure which I really appreciated as it would be a deal breaker for me. . Coastal Windows is a bit pricey but I have come to rely on them due to the quality of their work.I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exterior remodeling as I am once again having them vinyl side my house with complete confidence.

My wife and just purchased our first home 3 years ago in the fall. As winter approached and it got colder we decided the windows in our house were less than ideal. We bit the bullet our second year and searched far and wide for a reliable company that could replace our old windows. We eventually choose Coastal Windows and set up a time for them to come out and give us an estimate. After a short while they gave us a quote which was on the higher end of what we expected but still pretty fair. We decided to do just our first floor for now then see how things went, then do our second floor later. Long story short, these guys were super friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. The whole process went very smoothly and they seemed like they genuinely cared about the project. The best part was we saved a few hundred dollars in heating costs with only the first floor windows replaced! This year we will definitely be doing our upstairs with them. We purchased our house last year newly renovated. Unfortunately, they did not upgrade the door. We had probably the worst, builder grade door you can imagine. You could see the light coming in around the frame, the door would be hot or cold to the touch and it did not shut properly. To top it off, it had no dead bolt!My husband and I were very impressed with the entire process of Coastal Windows & Exteriors. We met at our home with Donna, who helped us choose the right door for our space. Once the door was installed it looked exactly as described, if not better.The installer, Mike, did a fantastic job. They delivered on every aspect of the process and communicate with me every step (ordering windows, installation dates, etc. of the way. I chose them from recommendation on Next Door. The installers were prompt, friendly, efficient and respectful of my property. The finish work and chalking around the windows were expertly done. They were nice to my dog too! This is a great, true story: my wife and I had had quite a few windows replaced by Next Step Living, a large company which then suddenly went out of business, literally overnight (?!)First, Coastal Windows came to the rescue by stepping in and taking over the N.S.L. warranties. We learned of this in a letter, in which they also offered to come and give a free estimate for any work Next Step hadn't done. We were more than pleased to invite them over, as you can imagine!Half the job (very large) remained to be done, and Coastal took care of it-- with the highest level of professionalism and friendliness. The sales process was like taking a class in window technology. We felt very reassured that we were making the right choice for our house and that the price was right for the quality. The only issue we had was scheduling the install (twice delayed, once unavoidable) which made the process slightly more difficult but even then their back office was communicative throughout and made a concerted effort to get it right following the mix-up. The install took less than a full day (for 6 windows) and the technicians were spotlessly clean and did a great job. We are super happy with our new windows: after living on a busy street in the city for 7 years, the peace and quiet these windows provide has made an enormous difference in our home. Great service!! We had 7 windows installed (3 in garage and 4 in an upstairs room). We opted for high efficiency windows and since getting them installed, we've notice a dramatic difference in the temperature in the room. In fact we even removed the window AC unit as it never gets too hot now. We will certainly go back to them for our other windows throughout the house.

Coastal Windows not only followed up, they got the job done when they said they would. My daughter's comment after the new door was installed was that she thought patio doors were always drafty. Coastal Windows replaced our gutters with leaf guard. The gutters are high quality but the amount of activity this year for gutters delayed installment about 6 weeks. The installation guy was very friendly and professional. The job was completed in two days. It was reported that there were blockages in our previous gutters-we requested a call back as to the location of the blockages but haven't heard back yet from anyone. Overall quality product with friendly but delayed service.
