In fact, we feel so strongly about sustainability and protecting the Earth, that we aim to help our customers in three ways:

2. Energy Efficiency: We want to help make your home as energy efficient as possible, which not only helps the environment, but it saves you money as well. We are not just adding products to your home, we are creating systems that protect your home, while minimizing energy loss.
3. Indoor Environmental Quality: Your home exterior products aren’t just protecting your home, they’re protecting you! We utilize top of the line products designed to keep moisture out and thus preventing exposure to toxic mold and mildew. We believe in better air quality that supports and nourishes your family!
In the spirit of going green, we would also like to introduce our customers to The Green Alliance, based out of Portsmouth, NH.
The Green Alliance (GA) aims to connect green-minded consumers with businesses with similar values. The GA performs sustainability certifications on all business partners, and makes the certification visible to the public on the GA website, along with a “Green Story” explaining how the company came to be green. Individuals who join as members are not only joining to receive the generous discounts at these green companies, but also to become a part of the GA community; a community that embraces events as opportunities to meet local business owners and fellow green-minded folk. Such events include a Summer Party on the Isles of Shoals Steamship (an event that nearly 300 attended this July), a spring music bash at Red Hook, and etc. All events are free to GA Members!
Throughout the summer (until October 1st), all new individuals who become Sustaining Members of the GA will receive two free tickets for a sail with the Gundalow Company out of Portsmouth! The ticket is valued up to $40, so the price of membership potentially pays for itself within the first year!
While the GA has a number of ways for individuals to get involved, the most valuable level of membership to an individual is through a Lifetime Sustaining Membership. These specific memberships provide individuals and families a means of showing their utmost support for local, sustainable businesses and demonstrate that the card holder is dedicated to making environmentally responsible decisions for a lifetime.
