🏡 Building Hope in Concord: Coastal Partners with Habitat for Humanity
In the beautiful, historic town of Concord, MA, something truly meaningful unfolded. Coastal Windows & Exteriors proudly partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell to help build a new, energy-efficient home at 367 Commonwealth Ave.
This was not just any project—it marked Habitat for Humanity’s 52nd home build, and their very first collaboration with our team at Coastal Windows & Exteriors. A milestone worth celebrating!
👷♀️ A Partnership Rooted in Purpose
As a woman-owned, family-run exterior remodeling company, giving back to the community is part of who we are. Now, as new members of the Concord Chamber of Commerce, we’re more committed than ever to making a difference.
For this special build, we donated a complete roofing system and premium siding—at no cost—to help turn a blueprint into a forever home.

🧱 Built to Last: James Hardie® Fiber Cement Siding
To ensure lasting beauty and performance, the home is protected with James Hardie® fiber cement siding. Designed specifically for New England’s unique weather, this siding stands strong against harsh elements.
We also included HardieWrap® weather barrier, providing extra insulation and moisture defense.
As a preferred James Hardie® contractor, we proudly offer:
HardiePlank® lap siding
HardiePanel® vertical siding
HardieShingle® siding
HardieTrim® boards
These products resist fire, rot, moisture, and pests, giving families peace of mind year-round.

🏠 Top-Tier Protection: GAF Timberline® Roof
No home is complete without a durable roof—and we made sure of that. We installed a GAF Timberline® UHDZ asphalt roofing system, known for its award-winning durability.
Here’s what makes it exceptional:
Leak and ice dam protection
Energy-efficient materials
Unlimited wind warranty
Lifetime shingle defect coverage
This system doesn’t just cover a house—it protects the future of a family.

💚 Community-First for Over a Decade
This project is one of many acts of service we’ve contributed to over the years. In fact, Coastal has donated more than $300,000 in labor and materials to Habitat for Humanity to date.
As Suzanne Frechette of Habitat for Humanity shares:
“When you are building affordable homes, it is critical to keep costs down and have such respectable and dedicated partners. We are so thrilled to work with Coastal.”
💬 A Promise of Protection and Purpose
At Coastal Windows & Exteriors, we believe that shelter is more than just a roof over your head—it’s a promise of protection. By donating high-quality roofing and siding, we’re investing in the long-term well-being of this family and our community.
This Concord build represents something bigger than a construction project. It’s about using our skills to create safe, stylish, and sustainable homes—because everyone deserves a place to call home.
📝 Final Thoughts
This collaboration with Habitat for Humanity is a powerful example of how businesses can uplift communities. Together, we’re not just building a house—we’re building hope, security, and opportunity.
