WINDOWS, AND SIDING, AND ROOFING … PART DEUX!
Coastal Windows & Exteriors Holds Successful Build Day & Announces 2nd Build Day & Rock This House Fundraising Event on November 16th, 2013!
LYNN, MA – Coastal Windows & Exteriors of Beverly, MA, teamed up with North Shore Habitat for Humanity – in coordination with Warner Bros. classic film, “The Wizard of Oz” – to help build new homes for local families in need this past Saturday, October 19, 2013. In the spirit of the Magic of Oz, Coastal Windows & Exteriors has donated the roof, siding, windows and doors that will turn the dilapidated house at 6 Grover Street in Lynn, MA, into a home for some very lucky local families
Coastal Windows & Exteriors owner Stephanie Vanderbilt felt thrilled to return to her hometown and give back to the community she once served as a teacher of the deaf. On October 19th, during their first Build Day, she personally installed her first-ever window—also the first window and first piece of vinyl siding on the new home. Volunteers enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch, generously provided by The North Shore Meat House, followed by dessert from Cygnet Bakery.
Second Coastal Build Day Announced
Coastal Windows & Exteriors’ second Coastal Build Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 16th, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The build will take place at the Grover Street home in Lynn, MA. Once again, they will recruit 20 lucky volunteers for this exciting, hands-on community experience.
Participants will help build, learn, and give back while working alongside the Coastal team and local supporters. In addition, volunteers will receive lunch, a commemorative Coastal Build Day t-shirt, and more. Each volunteer will also get a complimentary ticket to that night’s ROCK This House! Fundraiser event. As a result, it’s a full day of impact, celebration, and community connection.
However, space is limited—so act fast. Please email svanderbilt@mycoastalwindows.com to reserve your spot and receive full event details.
ROCK This House! Fundraiser
On Saturday, November 16th, from 7:00–11:00 p.m., Coastal Windows & Exteriors will co-host a fundraising event in Beverly, MA. They will join forces with North Shore Habitat for Humanity at the Vittori Rocci Post to continue raising support. Earlier, the Coastal Windows team proudly completed the exterior work on the home. Now, they’re ready to celebrate and raise funds for the next phase—interior construction. So, it’s time to raise the roof, kick up our heels, and support this meaningful cause together. Guests will enjoy live music, delicious food, a cash bar, and an exciting live auction throughout the evening. In addition, Stephanie Vanderbilt will share winter home tips as part of her mission to educate the community. She always aims to serve as a trusted advisor, even in the middle of a celebration.

The new Habitat for Humanity sponsored home on Grover Street in Lynn, MA is a complete gut renovation that will ultimately be transformed into a three family veterans preference home. The future homeowners and volunteers have been working side-by-side on initial demolition of the triple-decker for the past few months. The extensive renovation will continue through the fall and early winter with plans for it to be completed in early 2014.
