About This Project:

James Hardie® Cedarmill Siding Installation
Hampton, NH

As siding and window contractors in Hampton, NH, we were called to a home showing clear signs of aging and exposure to the elements. The existing wood siding was peeling and faded, and the wood window frames were cracked and rotting. The result was poor curb appeal and an underperforming exterior.

The problem arises when exterior deterioration leads to more significant issues, including water infiltration and energy loss. The visual appeal of their once-charming home had significantly declined. This family needed a durable, aesthetically pleasing siding replacement to restore their home’s protective capabilities and curb appeal.

To bring this homeowner peace of mind, we installed James Hardie® products, renowned for their durability and aesthetic flexibility. The plan included removing the old wood siding and inspecting the underlying plywood for any further damage. We then installed a new barricade waterproof house wrap (HardieWrap®) to protect against moisture, followed by James Hardie® HardiePlank® Cedarmill siding in an elegant Night Gray with a 4-inch reveal for a modern look.

We also installed James Hardie® soffit vented in Arctic White, white PVC fascia, and trim around all windows and doors, including the garage door. The porch was upgraded with a premium upgrade with a new ceiling to enhance the entrance area next to the garage.

New white vinyl windows were also installed, made with the lowest air infiltration ratings in the industry for a draft-free home. And thanks to vinyl’s nonporous design, there was no rotting, peeling, or warping to worry about.

The Night Gray fiber cement siding provided a dramatic, modern facelift. Arctic White trim and soffits offered a striking contrast that beautifully framed the home. The new white PVC fascia and picture window, garage door trims, and the premium porch ceiling added elegant touches that significantly boosted the home’s curb appeal.

New 5-inch seamless gutters with downspouts and gutter guards ensured proper rainwater management, protecting the home’s foundation and landscaping from water damage. Our siding and window replacement services also included handling all necessary permits and disposing of the old products, allowing this homeowner to bring their dream home to life!
