I recently had my house sided by Coastal, I went with James Hardie cement siding. The house looks amazing what a fantastic job that Coastal did. Everyone from sales to the construction crew was so easy to deal with. Financing was so easy and painless.
The job was done in the time frame that was quoted to me. The crew cleaned up any debris around at the end of the day. Besides the siding new windows and gutters were installed. My house looks brand new. I recommend anyone who is looking into siding to call Coastal siding and windows you will not be disappointed. It’s a joy to look at my house as I am driving down the street. Extremely satisfied

We are thrilled with the James Hardie siding that Coastal Windows put up for us. Our old 70s dingy siding is gone and new and beautiful (Ocean Blue!) siding is up. What we appreciated about Coastal Windows is not only the quality of the materials and the workmanship, but also what great communicators they were. For example, when they took off the old siding, they found even older siding underneath, so the project manager Ashley called us and explained that was why we would experience a little more banging than expected. (And nothin g was added to the price.) Neighbors stop when walking their dog to tell us how great the house looks. Highly recommend.

We are so happy with our decision to use Coastal for our entry door. From the initial meeting with Roger to the measuring to the communication while waiting for the door to be built to the install, everyone we encountered was professional and friendly. We contacted Coastal Windows & Exteriors after experiencing every homeowner's nightmare. It had been raining consistently in the past two weeks and finally, last Thursday, our living room ceiling collapsed under the weight of saturated insulation. There must be a leak, and we were scared at how long water was collecting and the possible damage. As it is a family home, I cannot fully express the anxiety we all were feeling.

A trusted friend and had told me about her wonderful experience with Coastal working on her home, so I immediately asked her for information and called them that day.

Ewan came to our home the very next day, also a rainy one, and performed an inspection. He was initially outside, taking pictures and notes before coming into the home to see the exposed ceiling and attic. When we finally sat down he talked to us about vulnerabilities he identified in the roof, siding, and windows. Owning a very old home with asbestos siding, we knew this was going to be big project for us.

And we were a bit overwhelmed with the terminology and how massive a project it would be to repair and protect our house after hearing the news. We knew we had wanted to redo the siding to protect our cherished victorian home, but we had just installed a new roof from another company 7 years ago, and thought we had some time to save for the next siding project.

But Ewan was a calm presence as he would stop and explain terms and essentially gave us a primer on roofs and siding we never thought we needed! He was a true educator, explaining the components and materials that Coastal uses in their process. And having our questions answered as we talked was tremendous in helping us understand what we needed to do next in addressing this roof/siding failure.

In the next couple of days, fearing additional rain, Ewan quickly responded to our concerns and got us a temporary tarp/covering to protect the home from continued rainfall. He really helped us feel like we were in the right hands while dealing with this emergency.

Coastal has already ordered our materials for work on our roof this week, and Ewan was just back at our home to finalize the additional siding and replacement windows. Again, learning more about how siding worked and feeling better about what we were buying. Ewan understood that this was a huge financial investment for us and talked us through the whole way. The level of customer care so far has been amazing and we feel so much more at ease to be working with Coastal.

Mark and Theo came to our home this morning as we were contemplating new siding and windows. Today is day three of siding installation and I have to say this has been a remarkable process. From the initial call for information to the ease of setting up an appointment with Ryan and Cam, the sales guys who met with me, it was obvious Coastal Windows is a well run company.
As for Ryan and Cam, they were professional and well acquainted with their product. Ryan was an especially helpful advisor in the final design—from a dated 1960s ranch to the to a 21st century modern structure.
Work is progressing apace and I’m looking forward to the finished product.

Currently we’re in the first stages of having our basement windows replaced.
We met with our Product Specialist, Nabil. He was very personable, knowledgeable and arrived right on time…total patience on his part, my boyfriend is a hard nut to crack when it comes to spending money.

The price for all (8) windows with triple pane were very reasonable….we can’t wait until there installed.

Plus, my daughter recommended Coastal Windows to us because they replaced almost her whole house and she loves her windows and highly recommended Coastal.

He took his time explaining process and options.Steve was the project manager and he was excellent about returning my calls and keeping me updated. I was hesitant about starting a renovation project, especially right before the holidays, because I didn’t understand the process or want to deal with multiple companies pressuring me to make a decision. But when Ryan showed up and said, ‘You are in good hands,’ I had no idea how great the experience would be.

Ryan spent over seven hours at our first meeting answering all my questions, explaining siding options, colors, and even what a soffit is. He helped me design a rendering of my dream house exterior, staying so late that the company sent him a pizza for dinner! That gesture made me realize Coastal Windows & Exteriors truly cares about its employees, which gave me confidence in doing business with them.

Just wanted to share some final before-and-after photos of the house transformation—from wood shingles to James Hardie siding, along with new front windows. Coastal did a great job replacing the windows in my house. The salesperson was knowledgeable and courteous and not super pushy. Once we made the deal communications were good. They banged out about 25+ windows in two days and did a great job replacing the rotten trim and getting everything straight. A huge difference in our house since they replaced the original single pane windows with modern windows. Very satisfied.

Product Specialist, Dino Hatzelamprou was very detailed with information and explanations of each step of the process, and materials available to choose from.
At conclusion, we were very impressed, and signed. Our home will be part of the Model Home process.

My experience with Coastal Windows & Exteriors was so much better than I expected. This interaction was to replace decades old vinyl siding. I was ready for high pressure sales where they push me toward the most expensive and elaborate siding replacement. What I got was a collaboration with Dino (the consultant that came to my home). He explained it all.

He walked me through the composition of the different materials used at each level of siding. We even talked about the area of the siding where the nails are placed., the type of nails used. He explained the type of house wrap they now use.. He explained how houses need to “breathe” and the old school wrap didn’t provide this benefit.
Most importantly he didn’t speak in jargon. He explained it all in everyday terms and used examples.

When it came to the assessment of the house and I what I had to replace it was a breath of fresh air . I was expecting to hear that I should replace it all. It was cool we worked out how to better spend my money.

Mike came to us to sell us windows and he did just that! Our plan was to get 2 or 3 quotes for the job, however. Mike did a great job of explaining everything they were going to do to keep our house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. He showed us what we would be getting, the windows look awesome. He spent nearly 4 hours with us answering all of our questions and just seemed very honest and trustworthy we were sold, we did not even keep the meeting we had scheduled for the next night with another company.

Coastal Windows was very professional from start to finish. The process of choosing what we wanted, taking the time to explain the long term benefits of going with their product and the follow through fast installation, one day, no mess, all clean, in our more custom job. Overall very happy with the service and follow through support. The door is a true investment not only esthetically, but also financially, making a big difference in keeping the heat in.

I was reluctant to call but ended up pulling the trigger due to the high reviews. There was an associate who came to our home and showed us our options and what we would like; our door was customized to our liking. The next step was measuring the door/door frame. Last step was installation. The door was perfect but didn't close automatically like we preferred. I called back and Ashley made sure my concern was heard and addressed. Within 2 days, I had a gentlemen come by, fix the issue and even educated me on what he did to solve the problem. Customer service (human not a machine) 5/5. Cost 4/5 (understandable with complete transparency). Schedule- roughly 1 month from signing to completion. I would definitely refer them to friends or family.

We had Coastal Windows & Exteriors replace the six windows and door on our front porch. We are delighted with the Vytex Potomac Double Hung windows and ProVia Steel with Fiberglass Channel Entry Door in Wood Frame. The quality is excellent. Coastal Windows & Exteriors scheduled the installation for two days, but completed it in one. The workmanship of the installers was excellent.

Called coastal windows and one other local company to quote on replacing a greenhouse style window/box leaking with a water rot base. They came quickly. The guys who came were knowledgeable but also unequivocally salesmen. They were reasonable, and honest about what things we probably should replace (window noted above), versus things they could do at discount by replacing more windows, but weren't urgent issues. They went through a sales pitch at the end, and quoted me, and then discounted it if we took the option that moment. I had not heard from the other company regarding their quote yet, and coastal was well rated, so took the offer. FWIW, the other company did come in about 20% lower (and also very reputable), but I appreciated how quickly coastal came and was ready to move forward. The actual ordering and installation went very well and perfectly happy with the result. Summary: salesmen forward, a little on the pricier side, but EXCELLENT product and service.

This is review pre-install because we feel we need to let everyone know how wonderful our initial experience with Coastal Windows & Exterior was. I inquired via Instagram and was responded ti immediately and set up an appointment time for someone to come to our home. Such a bonus, we did not want to spend time in a store trying to make such a big decision.

Roger came to our home to go over give us an overview on entry doors and the products Coastal uses. He reviewed options for replacing our old front entry door. He spent hours with us, answering every question we had. Even the ones that may have been silly or obvious. He gave us a ton of choices that allowed us to choose the door that best suited our home and design taste.

Roger was honest, professional and down to earth. He even was super relaxed and completely fine with our puppy loving on him a bit too much. Sorry Roger!

After meeting with 2 other contractors, I met with Ryan Mahoney from Coastal Windows & Exteriors and was a given a very competitive price and they delivered on promises made and made recommendations that ultimately enhanced the exterior design of my house. My house is a new build and had some custom unique features and they delivered on turning my design into a reality. Coastal Windows & Exteriors performed custom work to install a tigerwood soffit to my specifications and custom tigerwood headers that other contractors refused to include in their numbers. Their field team and installers were top shelf and did excellent job with minding small details and identifying issues before the work was installed. They finished the job quickly and effectively. I manage construction projects commercially and work with a lot of contractors so I can attest that Coastal Windows & Exteriors is a great company perform work on your home.

We recently contracted with Coastal Windows & Exteriors to replace the siding on our entire home, and while the project hasn’t started yet, we wanted to share how impressed we’ve been with our experience so far. Initially, we weren’t planning on undertaking this project, but due to some emergency issues with our current siding, we needed to move quickly. I had Coastal come out to put a new GAF roofing system on my home. The initial consultation with Dino was very informative and explained to me the many layers to the roofing system itself. They came out on schedule, did the work in a timely matter and I ended up adding gutters to the project. I am very happy to say that my roof is amazing and I no longer have ice damns as I did in the past years. I highly recommend Dino and Coastal, you will not be sorry.

Our house is getting older and we noticed so water getting in the back that faces a marsh. We called Coastal and Mark and Erik came out to access the situation. They spent a lot to time examining the house and checking out possible problems. They both had a wealth of knowledge and showed us where the problem was. After reviewing our options, we got a rally good price on replacing and correcting the siding. Both Mark and Erik had great follow up and worked with us to get it done.

I contacted Coastal Windows and Exteriors for roof replacement. They promptly returned my call and immediately set up a consultation. I met with Constantino Hatzelamprou who performed the estimate, understood the urgency of the job, and discussed our options. Ultimately, I chose to work with Coastal Windows and Exteriors because of how well they prioritized my project, how thorough, professional, and transparent Constantino was in discussing the project, and because they were able to coordinate the project with a chimney repair company on a related project. I'm excited to continue working with them.

Dino came out for a consultation at my rental property in Braintree. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It was a mismatch between what I was looking for (basic builders grade windows instead of something top quality) but that is the only reason I didn’t move forward with the project. Had Eric over for a quote on 4 windows and he was fantastic! Took the time to make sure we knew everything about the windows and install process. We weren’t planning on making a decision at the meeting but we were happy with the quote and the quality of service and the windows, so we did.

Met with Ryan for a design consult/price quote on roofing/siding and he was so fantastic that Coastal W&E became my first and last contractor meeting. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, had great ideas and plenty of examples to show from previous projects to help me feel confident in my choices. Ryan was a joy to work with and a great ambassador for Coastal, instilling confidence in their experience and expertise; critical for big, expensive home improvement projects.

Brendan at Coastal Windows & Exteriors was referred to me by one of my clients. I was looking to have new vinyl shingles install on my home and had already interviewed 3 other companies. I didn't feel good about any of them, so I reached out to Brendan. We met up a few days later, I told him what I wanted, he didn't me rush through the process to get a signed contract. I told him what my budget was, he said he would do everything in his power to stay on that budget and he did. I wanted a yellow house and was told that it was not a popular color but that didn't stop him from trying to find a yellow that I liked. There were only 2 yellows to choose from so he gave me other sample colors and didn't rush me with making a decision. I decided on the color Wheat and I am so happy with the choice. If I had any questions he was always accessible. The crew that worked on my home were professional and friendly as well. Brendan was great to work with. Mark and Cody were very comprehensive and laying out a proposal to update our siding, trim, and installing new gutters. The 3 man crew worked over 8 long work days to strip, membrane, insulate, and side our entire house, wrap all exposed exterior wood, install all new soffits, and completed the work with new gutters and exterior lighting.
It looks fabulous, the team was great, and we're super happy with the transformation.

I have ordered from Coastal Windows before. While the product and installation were all great the delivery was AWFUL. In fairness, though, that might have been OK now because COVID has ruined worldwide shipping; however, the same mix-up occurred the last time. The company apologized as it had to re-order the correct windows.On the BRIGHT side the windows are greater. They deaden outside noise. They insulate better than my previous 25 year old Andersen windows. I did look at Pella but I didn't like its pricing for wood trim.Life is all about compromises, dooohhh.

Very professional, took measurements and showed me every layer of new product that would be going on my roof once they stripped the old shingles and such off. All in the same visit. Jim worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted is working with me still to make sure my new roof goes on ASAP and I have some pretty bad damage from recent storms. We had the pleasure of having Coastal Windows & Exteriors install vinyl siding and replace two windows. We got to meet with David himself to go over everything, was able to answer all of our questions. Working with Stephanie to set up the schedule for everything was a breeze, she was super responsive and even when we ordered custom shutters that took a little longer to get from the manufacturer; she still made sure to reach out with updates along the way. I've contacted Coastal twice for help with my house and both times they were extremely honest, helpful and responsive! The first time was to get an estimate for siding and to replace a window. I was told that I didn't actually need siding (yet) and the window that was broken should actually be under manufacturers warantee and the sash could be replaced for free! (This was after being told by another person that I needed to replace my siding asap and the window would only cost an additional $600!) Based on the trust they built the first time, I called them again for porch windows (which most certainly need replacing!). Tim A. and Terry O. came out and both were just as fantastic as the first person! They explained everything, provided a lot of info I hadn't known, gave a very fair price and were incredibly responsive through the whole process! 5 out of 5 would use them again!

I used Coastal Windows & Exteriors to put new siding on my house and install a new front door. Emily came to my house to go over the project with me. She helped me pick out the right siding and shutters even calling the owner of the company to discuss what color would match my roof. My house looks fantastic! It looks like a brand new house. The crew were fantastic and helped you with all your questions and quickly resolved any issues. The inside trim on my door was supposed to be desert sand and it was installed white and I wanted it to match my trim on my windows and doors. Emily came over to asess and fix the issue, matching the paint and going to sherwin williams to get the paint. She then painted the trim to match my doors. I can't say enough about this company! My light had to be moved to the opposite side of my front door so the shutters could fit. David coordinated their electrician to come and rewire. After putting off window replacement for years, I found these guys online. The friendly professional sales rep came to my house, showing me all my options with full specs. The precision construction & high-tech materials used let me know these were the best quality windows I've seen. I chose triple-pane, argon-krypton gas-filled, with a UV-tint. The quote was very reasonable. I didn't need to look any further. The 3 installers came out on time, courteous, respectful, very competent experienced professionals. They were very accommodating to my needs. In 1 full day, they installed 13 double-hung windows, each one custom made with precision and a nice snug fit, without disturbing the interior trim. After every window was installed, they cleaned the area and vacuumed well. Every window was installed beautifully, better than I could have imagined. I was shown the proper closure of the sashes for best seal, and the beautifully engineered twin locks, effortless tilt-to-clean operation. I am so glad I got the UV tint since I get migraines from UV glare. It also keeps the house cooler in summer. The house is much tighter, even on gusty days, these windows are solid. In the 3-yrs I've had these, no problems whatsoever. I would hire Coastal again without hesitation. Great people, Highly recommended.

Coastal Windows & Exteriors replaced my roof. They met with me and discussed options and pricing. About a week after signing the contract, we had a big rainstorm and I had water running down an interior wall. I called them and they were there within an hour to tarp the roof at no extra charge. When they did the replacement, it was done in a day. They left my house and yard cleaned up and the roof has been excellent.

My fiancé and I bought our first home 8 months ago. Our home was built in 1920 and has their original windows, so they definetely needed a remodel. Coastal Windows was recommended to us through Mass Save. Lauren came out and gave us a quote. She provided us with so much knowledge on the windows, that we knew we should go ahead with the job through their company. We have been kept informed throughout the process and appreciate the company working with us to ensure our satisfaction. The windows were installed today and we love them! Highly recommended!

There was a slight delay in the start date of the job. However it was not a major problem. Steve Hansen was very good in contacting me and keeping me apprised on everything. The workers were very efficient and professional. Work was done in one day as promised. The workers cleaned up everything very well.I have one concern regarding the gutters which were not replaced, I believe the top cap is pulled back too far. Birds are getting into the gutter. The gutter is a product that prevents leaves and debris from getting in. I will have the gutter company come out and inspect them. I will contact you if there is a problem.

Coastal windows was my best choice!

What do you do when you need new windows, siding, and doors? You call Coastal Windows of course! When my wife and I moved into our house we knew at some point this would all need to be done. The doors were so poorly sealed you could see light all around the edges. On windy days our old windows sounded like a death metal drummer practicing his double bass and there was enough draft to fly a kite. Our shake siding was starting to break and the paint was peeling.So we had a few choices, either be 'that' house in our pretty nice neighborhood or fix up the place. Now parking a bunch of rusty 1980's camaro's on the front lawn with no wheels and resting on cinder blocks next to a few weather beaten torn up tarps flapping in the wind would have completed our look but I had no desire to grow a mullet and I don't think Larry the Cable guy is funny so we went the opposite way.We reached out to Coastal Windows and they sent forth Esther to tell us all about all the cool things we needed to do just in case MTV Cribs ever came back on the air. Esther gave us tons of options and helped us all along the way. We were explained and shown the differences in windows, sidings, and doors and learned a lot along the way. For siding we went with a shake design that looks about as real as you can get. With the windows we went with some filled with Krypton gas, Esther says this is the best for insulation but I did it because I really don't trust Superman, and we capped it off with a sweet new front door, back door, and rear storm door into the mud room.When Coastal Windows got going with construction they were quick and efficient, from stripping the house to getting everything new on it took about a week. Coastal Windows never left us with any holes overnight, if a window was removed it was immediately replaced and the same with the doors. Their contractors also measured multiple times before ordering anything so there were no wrong sizes or delays.The best part is everything carries a life guarantee. Now I have to start eating more vegetables and actually using the treadmill that holds my laundry so I can really take advantage of this! If you're thinking about going somewhere besides Coastal Windows just remember this little piece of advice...don't.

I had two custom replacement windows installed last year from Coastal Windows and had a very positive experience with everyone involved. My wife and just purchased our first home 3 years ago in the fall. As winter approached and it got colder we decided the windows in our house were less than ideal. We bit the bullet our second year and searched far and wide for a reliable company that could replace our old windows. We eventually choose Coastal Windows and set up a time for them to come out and give us an estimate. After a short while they gave us a quote which was on the higher end of what we expected but still pretty fair. We decided to do just our first floor for now then see how things went, then do our second floor later. Long story short, these guys were super friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. We purchased our house last year newly renovated. Unfortunately, they did not upgrade the door. We had probably the worst, builder grade door you can imagine. You could see the light coming in around the frame, the door would be hot or cold to the touch and it did not shut properly. They delivered on every aspect of the process and communicate with me every step (ordering windows, installation dates, etc. of the way. I chose them from recommendation on Next Door. The installers were prompt, friendly, efficient and respectful of my property. The finish work and chalking around the windows were expertly done. They were nice to my dog too! The windows are amazing! I see a big difference in noise reduction and temperature. I have a room that was converted from the garage and it was always so cold. This is a great, true story: my wife and I had had quite a few windows replaced by Next Step Living, a large company which then suddenly went out of business, literally overnight (?!)First, Coastal Windows came to the rescue by stepping in and taking over the N.S.L. warranties. We learned of this in a letter, in which they also offered to come and give a free estimate for any work Next Step hadn't done. We were more than pleased to invite them over, as you can imagine!Half the job (very large) remained to be done, and Coastal took care of it-- with the highest level of professionalism and friendliness. This is an exceptionally well-run company, and we give them the highest possible ratings...plus bonus points, if they exist. Thank you, Coastal!!!

The sales process was like taking a class in window technology. We felt very reassured that we were making the right choice for our house and that the price was right for the quality. The only issue we had was scheduling the install (twice delayed, once unavoidable) which made the process slightly more difficult but even then their back office was communicative throughout and made a concerted effort to get it right following the mix-up. The install took less than a full day (for 6 windows) and the technicians were spotlessly clean and did a great job. We are super happy with our new windows: after living on a busy street in the city for 7 years, the peace and quiet these windows provide has made an enormous difference in our home. Very happy with the product and service provided and rest assured with the lifetime guarantee that we will remain satisfied.

Excellent support from beginning to end. All the teams were professional ( windows, siding and doors). I can definitely tell the difference in how quite my home is since i live on a busy street. The windows, doors and siding turned out exactly the way i wanted. My Neighbors and other people from the community stop and tell me daily how great the home looks, i think that says it all. I anticipate heat savings this year once this cold weather rolls in.

We had a great experience with Coastal. We had 4 new windows installed by them and they were extremely easy to work with from start to finish. The guys who came to do the installation were quick, but did a fantastic job. The windows are a huge improvement! I think their prices are higher than some, but the windows themselves are great and the customer service left me feeling like I was in good hands. I feel as if I got good value for my money overall.

Great service!! We had 7 windows installed (3 in garage and 4 in an upstairs room). We opted for high efficiency windows and since getting them installed, we've notice a dramatic difference in the temperature in the room. In fact we even removed the window AC unit as it never gets too hot now. We will certainly go back to them for our other windows throughout the house.

Coastal Windows installed a sliding patio door for us last November. Two other companies had dropped the ball, and did not provide or install a door. Coastal Windows not only followed up, they got the job done when they said they would. My daughter's comment after the new door was installed was that she thought patio doors were always drafty. Coastal Windows replaced our gutters with leaf guard. The gutters are high quality but the amount of activity this year for gutters delayed installment about 6 weeks. The installation guy was very friendly and professional. The job was completed in two days. It was reported that there were blockages in our previous gutters-we requested a call back as to the location of the blockages but haven't heard back yet from anyone. Overall quality product with friendly but delayed service.
