Their home’s siding and roofing were visibly worn and weathered, no longer offering the protection or curb appeal they once did. Considering New England’s harsh elements, we knew this home needed an upgrade—not just for aesthetics but for enhanced structural integrity.
This homeowner was understandably frustrated. Years of exposure had left the siding faded and peeling, and the roof shingles were cracked and brittle. With an exterior in this condition, there are concerns repair costs, potential interior damage, and a drop in their home’s market value.

We proposed a comprehensive upgrade using top-tier, energy-efficient materials. For the siding, the homeowner selected Market Square D4.5 Dutchlap in Indigo–one of our most popular blue siding colors. This insulated foam-back vinyl siding looks like real wood without the maintenance. Best of all, there’s no worrying about chipping, rotting, or fading in the sun.
For the roofing, we recommended the GAF Timberline HDZ asphalt shingles in Birch Wood color, coming complete with a 6-layer system that provides decades of leak-free protection. The cherry on top was the installation of a fixed skylight, allowing more natural light to enter the home. With the completion of this project, we have another happy Coastal customer! Are you next?
