About This Project:

James Hardie® Cedarmill Siding Installation
Needham, MA

Our latest project took us to a beautiful home in Needham, MA, with old siding, faded from the sun–all while downgrading the otherwise attractive curb apparel. The worn-out siding was no longer protecting this home from the elements, leading to rising energy bills. While the homeowner was concerned about aesthetics, they also wanted to protect the structural integrity and prevent water damage from further deterioration.

To protect the home while dramatically improving its appearance, this homeowner selected James Hardie® fiber cement plank siding, renowned for its durability and shield from water damage with HardieWrap®. We installed James Hardie® plank Cedarmill siding in a sophisticated Pearl Gray color, along with a complete system of PVC trims and James Hardie® soffits to ensure a cohesive, high-quality finish.

Our approach included stripping the old siding and roofing, a necessary step to prepare for the new installations. We managed all aspects of the project, from obtaining the necessary siding permits to coordinating with an electrician to handle any electrical adjustments needed during the installation process.

Hardie® plank siding immediately revitalized the home’s appearance. The PVC fascia, shadow trims, window and door trims, and the garage door and water table trims not only transformed the aesthetic appeal but also provided long-lasting protection against moisture and decay.

Additional upgrades included premium gutters with gutter guards to improve water diversion away from the home’s foundation, further protecting the property’s structural integrity. The homeowner was particularly pleased with the Elite preferred installation and warranty, which ensured that the investment was protected for years to come.
