What a day it was! On Monday, May 22, we gladly participated in the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce Business Education and Scholarship Golf Tournament. This annual event, held at the stunning Bass Rocks Golf Club, was all about swinging our clubs to support the Chamber’s mission of education.
The event organizers directed the net proceeds of this wonderful event to fund the Chamber’s incredible work with three Cape Ann schools, Essex Tech, and various educational non-profits.
The programs these proceeds support are diverse and impactful, including monthly collaborations with all schools and educational non-profits, support for DECA, internships and mentorships, the annual Cape Ann Career & College Fair, and, of course, several scholarships.
As a proud member of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, we didn’t hesitate to sponsor this significant golf tournament.

Stepping up as a Platinum Lunch Sponsor, we were committed to ‘taking care of you’! The proceeds from our sponsorship will go towards Greater Cape Ann Chamber Scholarships, aligning perfectly with our mission of education. After all, what better way to teach folks about energy-efficient home improvement products that can make their homes better and save them money?
We made sure our booth at the event was a hub of fun and information. Attendees had the chance to enter a raffle drawing and enjoy delicious snacks and drinks. We even served our special Coastal Windows & Exteriors cookies–because who can resist a good cookie?
For those who booked an estimate with us, they walked away with a cool, free Yeti. And, anyone who inquired about our services received a free golf towel. We love giving away free goodies!

This event held a special place in our hearts because it intertwined with the core values of our company. Education is a pillar we hold dear at Coastal Windows & Exteriors. Our owner, Stephanie Vanderbilt, is a former teacher of the deaf and understands the profound impact education can have. As an exterior remodeling company, we aim to become trusted advisors to our customers, focusing on education rather than using high-pressure sales tactics.
Looking back at the event, we feel a sense of joy and fulfillment. We had a fantastic time supporting a cause that’s so close to our core values. It was an honor to connect with the community in such a meaningful way. Here’s to education, community, and, of course, a good round of golf!
