Bringing Sunshine and Savings to a Zero-Energy Home
CWE of Beverly, Massachusetts, is proud to announce its exclusive contribution to the creation of Boston Magazine’s 10th Annual Design Home 2014 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. The innovative Zero-Energy home will feature 24 of Coastal Windows & Exteriors’ Preservation casement windows that will contribute significantly to the energy efficiency of this new home by retaining the sun’s warmth. The new Design Home will be complete in early September with plans to open its doors to the public for four weeks of house tours to benefit Children’s Hospital on September 11, 2014.
Moreover, the Preservation casement windows help reduce heat loss and lower energy bills through advanced insulating technology. These windows also maximize natural light while maintaining interior comfort throughout the year. In addition, the airtight construction supports the home’s goal of achieving zero energy usage. As a result, the windows play a vital role in creating a sustainable and environmentally responsible home.
