As 2023 comes to a close, Coastal Windows & Exteriors proudly received another award from Qualified Remodeler. We’re so excited to share that we are ranked as one of the 200 largest home improvement companies in the country—an acknowledgment known as HIP 200.
How did Coastal make the HIP 200 list? It’s not just because we’re, well, hip. (Although that makes us sound pretty cool!) The way we made the list comes down to a few factors.
Qualified Remodeler editorial staff selects winners who meet a of criteria. This includes awesome recognitions that make us extra proud, including total years in business, industry association membership, industry certifications, industry awards and community service.

Coastal’s been in business since 2011
One of the qualifications for HIP 200 is years in business. We opened our doors in 2011, offering an educational and empathetic approach to exterior remodeling. Aligning every project with our core values, Coastal is a proud woman-owned business. Only 14% of all exterior remodeling companies in the country are owned by a woman!

Hooray! Coastal IS community
Perhaps our most proud recognition is our commitment to the community. It’s very important to us to give back to the community in every way possible. Some examples include:
- Founder of the Roofs for Heroes program, donating quality GAF roofing systems to local veterans in need. Coastal has proudly installed 4 roofing systems for local veterans, free of charge in partnership with GAF roofing since 2020.
- Freedom from Want tradition, where we donate turkeys, pies, and fixings to our local Open Door Pantry and Beverly Bootstraps.
- Recently donated a door to Habitat for Humanity.
- Members of many local chambers to make new connections to those in need.
